Going global through Corona - A Case Study with Create! Art School
Super excited to share this interview with the fabulous Helen Woodford from Create! Art School in Nottingham who has gone global in Corona.
Helen’s story will resonate with lots of people, she’s a busy mum with 2 children and was absolutely determined to keep her business afloat during Corona.
You’ll want to listen to this, the key takeaways are:
How our children can give us the best ideas
How working on your money mindset makes the biggest difference
How you can move your business online
How small and intimate can be so supportive
How to cut through the noise and charge what you’re worth when lots of people are offering stuff for free
This interview was initially created within the Blue Stockings Society
I’ve worked with Helen on and off for a number of years, so it was wonderful when she sent me this testimonial:
Debbie has been an incredible business coach and role model for me over the last 3 years since starting my business. She has really helped me develop my business in several different ways.
Firstly, I met Debbie at her “Bluestockings Brunch” which I have attended a few times. Each time, the topics discussed have been interesting, the speakers have been well selected, the opportunity for networking and making connections has been very useful and the food delicious!
I then went onto attend a course Debbie ran via ‘the big house’ on the vast topic of social media. It was a very helpful session as at the time I was a social media novice, and I went onto implement much of the training into my own business.
Following the course, I signed up to Debbie’s wonderful Indie Freedom Seekers group which was really great as not only did it provide ‘soft coaching’ via monthly coaching calls, but also really business specific training.
I have also had 2 very valuable 121 sessions with Debbie to focus on specific areas of my business. Both of which have helped me greatly to develop the online aspects of my business.
Plus I regularly receive golden nuggets of advice from Debbie via her weekly emails. Well written, informed, balanced, funny and sometimes a little bit naughty!
I cannot say how grateful I am to Debbie for the support she has provided to me, she has helped me probably more than she realises!
It’s been wonderful to watch Helen’s business grow and see it go global!
