The number of businesses within the UK operating from warehouse facilities is growing steadily. For example, a recent report found that “between 2008 and 2017, the number of warehouse and storage enterprises in the UK increased from under three thousand to close to six thousand.” 


With this growth, however, comes greater competition. That is, other companies within your industry may have better or faster-moving production lines or enhanced technology that eliminates inefficiencies. As such, it's important that you remain on top of your game when managing a warehouse.

Growth is often facilitated through investment into the company - whether that be into new materials or equipment. As such, the start of the year is the perfect time to invest in your business set-up so that you can enjoy the benefits 

throughout the year.

Onboarding training is essential within a warehouse or factory environment, especially if employees will be using specialist/hazardous equipment. This means that they continue to develop and hone new skills, which can boost efficiency and increase productivity in the workplace. To put it simply, training is not just a box to tick during the onboarding process.
