My client asked me this week, and it developed into an interesting discussion, so I thought I’d share it with you.
She wanted to know what were my daily, weekly and monthly activities that grew my business and what my non-negotiables were.
Work smarter
If you run a business, you have a personal brand. More than ever people want to know the face behind the brand. We want to know what what they stand for and the kind of person they are.
And where branding (in the simplest form a hot iron on a sheep backside) has been around for centuries, the rise of the personal brand has exploded due to social media and the rising numbers of solo entrepreneurs.
The world is feeling a bit topsy turvy at the moment, which is destabilising and unsettling. The news brings constant changes and doom-mongering which obviously can make you worried about the future.
So what can you do to ensure you and your business rides the waves and enters 2021 stronger than ever?
Have you ever got to the end of the day and wondered what you’ve achieved? Have you ever found yourself staring at your screen with tons to tabs open on your web browser? Have you ever been halfway through a task and found yourself with your phone in your hand looking up something completely unrelated?
Boy oh boy have we been having some challenging times around the world this 2020. Forest Fires, protests, landslides, explosions oh and a little thing called a pandemic.
It can be hard to keep smiling in the face of such adversity. To keep focusing on the good stuff, when the news is full of panic and there are people dying across the world from Corona.
So how can we keep our peckers up and keep putting one foot in front of the other?
My first tip as to how to make the most of Facebook ads and Instagram ads is to get the Pixel code on your website. The Pixel code is a free piece of code from Facebook that measures and captures the data of people who go on your website, so that you can market to people who you know are already interested in you.
Sometimes we put the breaks on what we could achieve. We poo, poo our ideas. We feel like they belong to someone else. We feel bad about charging for our services. We feel ungrateful for wanting more. The idea of being rich feels dirty.
What would you do if you could do anything? What would you do if no-one was watching? What would you do if anything was possible?
Super excited to share this interview with the fabulous Helen Woodford from Create! Art School in Nottingham who has gone global in Corona.
Helen’s story will resonate with lots of people, she’s a busy mum with 2 children and was absolutely determined to keep her business afloat during Corona.
